Bill’s and James’ vision for the Country House is to create a signature Georgian styled country mansion that will be the hub of the estate and the anchor at its heart, as it grows and matures. The house will have accommodation for hire as part of the overall luxury experience. Its architecture and imposing stature will exude heritage, establishment and be the ultimate expression of the construction excellence that has underpinned the success of Porter & Co. for 4 decades.

The rennovation of an abandoned farm on the estate is the perfect location for the Gill Hall Country Club & Spa.
COOKERY SCHOOL
The Vision
Our own chef team will offer a wide range of classes and culinary experiences for beginners and those who want to improve their skills. They will learn about the provenance and authenticity of the natural ingredients that are the foundation of good food, from our own Angushorn beef to the produce from our walled garden.
WALLED HERB GARDEN
The Vision
Exuding the heritage of Gill Hall Estate with its rich history, the walled garden will be built using heritage materials and will have an established look from the outset. Its produce will be used in the restaurant, cookery school and country house and will be become an integral part of the estate as it grows and matures.
